Coronary-Artery Bypass Surgery in Patients with Left Ventricular Dysfunction - The New England Journal of Medicine - 2011
Brief Summary:
Among patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy with LVEF ≤35%, the addition of CABG to OMT does not significantly reduce all-cause mortality after 5 years but does reduce CV-related deaths and hospitalizations. After 10 years, there is a significant reduction in all-cause mortality with CABG.Reference: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21463150
